His presentation entitled, "County Sherriff Says Evacuate, Now What?” will be presented to the Virginia Assisted Living Association's conference attendees who work in the Senior Living and Post-Acute Care industry.
VCPI was designated a StormReady® Supporter by the National Weather Service (NWS) on May 12, 2009. This designation will be valid through May 12, 2012. VCPI is the third StormReady® Supporter in Wisconsin. According to the NWS: StormReady® is a national community preparedness program that uses a grassroots approach to help communities develop plans to handle all types of severe weather. In general, a community or entity must possess a solid communication network, and provide verification of its multi-hazard emergency operations plan. There will be a ceremony held at VCPI in late June.
VCPI’s Director of Infrastructure and Engineering, Joe Riesberg, presented at the 2009 Indiana Senior Living and Post-Acute Care Convention & Expo.
Loren Claypool, VCPI’s Managing Director, was chosen to present on the Client Executive Panel at the CDW Milwaukee Technology Summit at Potawatomi Casino on March 31st.
His presentation, titled, “Why your plans may not work when the County Sheriff says evacuate,” will be attended by owners, administrators, maintenance, laundry, and housekeeping personnel of Senior Living and Post-Acute Care and assisted living facilities.
